Dy sylw: We have just received a visit from a Resident Assistant in House 8 around 8:30 in which the RA proceeded to conduct a fire safety check in our rooms without prior warning. We were told we would only be receiving fire safety checks in our communal area. This was an extremely stressful experience for us as none of us were warned beforehand so we could clean our rooms and it felt like an invasion on our safe space. If they are going to come into our rooms then they must tell us beforehand as it creates extreme unnecessary stress.
