M.A Creative and Media Writing (Distinction)

I started off in the sciences which I still love, with a science-based first degree, but later did the excellent and wide ranging Masters in Creative and Media Writing from Swansea University where we had the chance to experiment with fiction, poetry and scriptwriting for radio and stage.

I have taught with Aberystwyth Lifelong Learning for many years, several poetry and writing groups have sprung up following, in Mid-Wales which is great. I published a novel with Honno in 2006 ‘Facing into the West Wind’ set on the Gower. I have wide-ranging interests, but especially enjoy detective fiction and sci-fi and continue to write fiction.
