Profile

James Caddick completed an MA in Art and Design at The Royal College of Art and started directing upon graduation.Over the last 20 years he has made award winning work including broadcast and independent documentaries TV commercials, music videos and short films. His work has been shown at international festivals  including the London, Edinburgh, Milan and Cannes.

GRANTS & FUNDING

2020 - A Documentary about the Impact of renewable energy on the landscape funded by Goldsmith University Design research fund.

2013 -2015 Elephant Days a Feature documentary funded by Universal Records about the Elephant and Castle community and the band ‘The Maccabees’ - It premièred at The BFI London Film festival.

2011 - Development grant funded by the Irish Film Council to make a documentary about the art of doodling.

2007 - Preparing For The Worst - 4X 3 Minute Wonders - Broadcast on Channel 4.

2004 Zlin: Travel grant funded by the RCA to research the city of Zlin’s functionalist architecture

2005 -2022 - Multiple budgets awarded for commercial work for Content, Music Videos and Television Commercials
