About my accommodation

You will be able to self-select your room when you book your accommodation.

You can self select a room in the same flat as your friends through the Accommodation Portal.

Please note: Although all efforts are made to ensure this is successful, this cannot always be guaranteed.

Unfortunately, you cannot view your room before you move in as you won't know your exact address until your arrival. 

To see our range of accommodation, please visit our accommodation options webpage for pictures / virtual tours or come along to one of our open days where you can see the accommodation in person.

Contract lengths differ on the type of residence and student (e.g. first semester only students). To find the length of your occupation contract, please log into the Accommodation Portal. 

The contents of what is provided in accommodation varies with each residence.

Please look at the Accommodation Options information for specific details.

Personal contents insurance is included within your accommodation fee. However, it will only cover a certain amount of items.

You need to be covered by a TV licence to watch or record live TV programmes on any channel, and to download / watch BBC iPlayer.

If your accommodation has a TV provided by us, we will provide the TV licence so you don’t need to worry.

If you feel that you do not need a TV licence, please declare this information on the tv licence webpage.
