£500 per year of study
Made possible by a generous donation to the University by the late Gwyneth Evans.
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate students at Aberystwyth University in any subject who:
- Were either born in Ceredigion or have lived in Ceredigion for the 3 years prior to application
- And have a taxable household income of £40,000 or below prior to starting University.
Supporting Evidence
In order to assess your application, please provide the following:
- A copy of your passport, driving license, birth certificate;
or proof of address in Ceredigion for the last 3 years - Copies of P60s for those in your household who are employed under the PAYE system for the 2023 tax year (April 2023-April 2024)
- Copies of Self-Assessment tax returns (April 2023-April 2024) for those in your household who are registered self-employed
- Copies of any state benefits such as Universal Credit or Job Seekers Allowance that members of your household receive

Please submit your application, including evidence of the above to scholarships@aber.ac.uk for consideration. We will get in touch if we require further information.
The deadline to apply for 2025 entry is 30 August 2025.
