Are you already self-employed or have a great idea for a business but don’t know where to start? Statistics show that there is a rising number of people wishing to be freelance or self- employed. How do you negotiate the financial side of your business ad stay on top of your finances? This short module gives you the skills to forecast and prepare for being self-employed.

Programme

The finance for business course has a variety of elements to it. You will learn all about setting up your own business to tax and book-keeping to understanding the basics of using Quickbooks.

Reading suggestions will be offered throughout the course. 

Entry Requirements

This course is for everyone. No previous experience is needed and there are no formal entry requirements.

What Do I Need?

As this is an online course, you would need the following:

• Internet access
• Access to a laptop or computer with a web camera and microphone; the use of headphones might also be of benefit
• Use of the Chrome web-browser where possible.
