Institute of Medieval & Early Modern Studies

The Institute of Medieval and Early Modern Studies is an interdisciplinary research centre hosted by the universities of Aberystwyth and Bangor. It organises and supports training workshops for postgraduate students, colloquia, conferences and symposia in any aspect of medieval and early modern studies. Historians at Aberystwyth play a leading role in IMEMS, including one of the directors of the institute.
