Foundation

Successful completion of Bacheillerato with an average grade of 60%

Undergraduate
  • Completion of the Bachillerato with an average grade of 85% 
  • Entry to the second year will be considered for students who have completed the Salida Lateral or Carrera Corta leading to a Diploma or Título Técnico (2-3 years) with an overall grade of 75%  or 7/10
  • Entry to the second year will be considered for students who have completed the Título de Técnico Superior Universitario/Título de Profesional Asociado (2 years) with an overall grade of 75%  or 7/10
Postgraduate

You will be required to have a relevant four-year  Licenciado / Professional title from a recognised institution, with a grade of approximately 7.50 or above to qualify for Aberystwyth University's postgraduate taught programmes. You can find a breakdown of grades below.

English Requirement

IELTS score of at least 6.0 - 7.5

If you require help or assistance with your English then our International English Centre will be pleased to offer assistance and guidance. The Centre offers an intensive full-time course available before you commence your degree and provides ongoing support throughout the duration of your studies.

Aberystwyth Mexico Scholarship

(Undergraduate)

£2,000 tuition fee discount for every taught year of studies

Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.

Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship

(Postgraduate)

£3,000 tuition fee discount
Students must have the equivalent of a UK First Class Honours degree to be eligible for this Scholarship.

Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.

Chevening Scholarships

(Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate)
