Entry Requirements

 Level Entry Requirements
Foundation

Certificate of General Secondary Education (Baccalaureat Libanais) with a minimum of 65% overall.

Undergraduate

GCE A levels (or equivalent). Offers can vary depending on the course but are typically in the range of 104 - 128 UCAS tariff points. Applicants with a recognised International Foundation Year will also be considered.

If you do not meet our requirements then we will consider you for our International Foundation Certificate.

English Requirements: IELTS 6.0 - 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. See other acceptable proficiency tests.

Postgraduate

The requirement for entry onto a Postgraduate course is successful completion of a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution. The average grades depend on the course chosen, with the minimum for some courses being:

  • Bachelor's degree: 76.5%
  • Licence degree: 14.0

Aberystwyth Lebanon Scholarship

(Undergraduate)

£2,000 tuition fee discount for every taught year of studies

Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.

Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship

(Postgraduate)

£2,000 - £3,000 tuition fee discount

Students with an equivalent of a UK First Honours degree will be eligible for a £3,000 discount.

Students with an equivalent of a UK Upper Second (2:1) or Lower Second (2:2) degree will receive a £2,000 discount. 

Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.

International Accommodation Award

(Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate)

International students are eligible to receive inclusive university accommodation for each year of studies. Subject to availability. *Terms and conditions apply.

This award gives a £1,000 tuition fee discount to any international fee-paying students who spent a period of time studying with us as an associate student.

Grant for up to 3 years covering fees and maintenance with access to a conference fund.
