Student Profiles

Ahmed Shehata

(PhD Information Studies)

"It was my immense luck and fortune to be a part of Aberystwyth University. Aberystwyth is a lovely place where I spent four years. I joined the Ph.D. program in the Information Studies Department, which helped me to boost my career as I worked later as a lecturer in Minia University in Egypt and after that joined Sultan Qaboos University in Oman as an assistant professor in the Information Studies Department.

The best thing about the university is the cooperative staff who helped me during my study and the library where I spent a great time studying and reading. One more thing I enjoyed is Aberystwyth, the friendly, beautiful and charming town. During my study, I considered Aberystwyth as my second home, which I am sure I will visit many times in the future.

Studying at Aberystwyth is a great opportunity for everyone I advise students from Egypt and all over the world to enjoy their studies and life in this charming town I am sure you will love it. If you are planning to study at Aberystwyth, make sure to enjoy your study, make friends, visit the student union, spend more time in the library, and make many memories that you will never forget.

I am currently an Assistant professor at Sultan Qaboos University - Oman."
