Entry Requirements

Level Typical Entry Requirements
Foundation / International Foundation Certificate

International Foundation Certificate

30-week: Higher Secondary Certificate with minimum 60% overall and in relevant subjects. 
15 Week: Higher Secondary Certificate with minimum 75% overall and in relevant subjects.

English requirements vary from IELTS 4.5-5.5.

Undergraduate/ Bachelors Degree

Academic: Candidates with exceptional scores in their HSC (grade A, 80%, 5.0 overall) and SSC (5.0 grade point) may be considered for a direct entry into the first year of our undergraduate programmes.

English Requirements: IELTS 6.0 - 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. See other acceptable proficiency tests.

 

If you do not meet our requirements then we will consider you for our International Foundation Certificate
Postgraduate / Masters Degree

Academic:

Most of our taught masters will ask for a good 2ii honurs degree or a 2i honours degree

  • UK 2ii Honours =  Bachelor Honours degree (4 years in duration) from BUET: 45% 2nd Class
  • Good 2ii Honours = Bachelors Honours (4-year) from BUET: 49.50%
  • UK 2i Honours =  Bachelor Honours degree (4 years in duration) from BUET: 52% 2nd Class
  • UK 1st Class Honours standard = Bachelor Honours degree (4 years in duration) from BUET: 60% 1st Class

If you do not meet the requirements for entry onto a Masters Degree in Aberystwyth Business School then we can consider you for entry onto our Pre-Masters Programme.
English Requirements 

If you require help or assistance with your English then our International English Centre will be pleased to offer assistance and guidance. The Centre offers an intensive full-time course available before you commence your degree and provides ongoing support throughout the duration of your studies

Please note each course will require specific entry grades from the qualifications highlighted above. Some courses may also require an additional portfolio or interview.
