Federal Grad Plus Loan Program (postgraduates only)

If you have taken out the maximum value of Direct Loan, you can apply for a Grad Plus Loan to top-up your finances. Information about the fixed interest rates for these loans can be found at https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/types/loans/interest-rates.  These loans have a fixed interest rate that is currently set at 6.28%. There will be a 4.248% Origination fee for 2021-2022. You do not need a parent to co-sign your Grad Plus application forms. Repayments are deferred whilst you are on the course but can be extended to 6 months after the student's enrollment drops to "less than half-time".
