A university’s fees and finance can be broken down into three basic areas: tuition fees, student loans and other additional funding opportunities.

Tuition Fees
These cover the cost of your study at Aberystwyth, including examinations, graduation and more.
Additional Fees & Charges

There may be additional costs and charges associated with your degree programme which are not covered by your tuition fee.

Student Loans
Loans and grants are designed to help fund your study at Aberystwyth and will vary depending on country of origin – i.e. Wales, UK or EU.
Additional Funding Opportunities
These include: university scholarships and bursaries, part-time work placements, year in employment, sponsorships and more.

Scholarships and bursaries are extra sources of money, independent of standard government loans or grants, and don’t have to be repaid!
