A lot of the theoretical knowledge and research skills I gained through my BSc degree come in handy at my day to day work. I did my dissertation on antibiotic resistance, and that was the main subject of discussion during the job interview for my current job. The practical skills I gained regarding calculation of antibiotic concentrations and handling a wide range of different organisms also have proven themselves extremely useful. 
The modules I studied in Aberystwyth were very diverse and gave me excellent preparation for what was to follow.‌"
