Thomas and Mair Jones Collection

The Thomas and Mair Jones Collection is a reference collection located in the Department of Welsh and Celtic Studies.

The collection was donated by the daughters of the late Thomas Jones, former Professor of Welsh at the Aberystwyth University. It includes most major Welsh academic texts, as well as many Irish and Breton volumes, and historical works of Celtic interest. There are a large number of volumes concerning the Mabinogion, one of the subjects with which Professor Jones was most closely linked.
