2014 Carr Student Conference

The DDMI was pleased to provide financial and other support to the Carr Student Conference. Information on the conference is below. Do not hesitate to contact Akos Erzse (ake3@aber.ac.uk), a member of the student organizing team, should you require further information.
- The Carr Student Conference is now being organised by undergraduate students for students and staff members of the University for the second time.
- Submission of papers and presentations is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students until the 10th of March.
- This year's topic is going to be 'The Arab-Israeli Conflict: Causes, Problems, Solutions'.
- The Conference will take place on 22 March 2014, from 10AM till 4PM.
- Tickets cost 2£ when bought from members of the organising team. Alternatively, tickets can also be purchased on Eventbrite for the price of 2.70£ (http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/carr-student-conference-2014-arab-israeli-conflict-tickets-10534006497?aff=efbbt)
- So far we have three guest speakers who confirmed their attendance and three students who expressed their willingness to present their knowledge.
- The organising team will be hosting a bake sale in the main foyer of the International Politics Department from 10:45 on the 3rd of March, 2014 to raise awareness and funding.
