New research experiment - Who is T.H. Parry-Williams

02 August 2010

On Wednesday 4th August, (between 9.00am and 12.00pm) Dr Robin Chapman, along with Dr Dafydd Sills-Jones from The Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies, will try to establish the significance of T.H. Parry-Williams' poems in contemporary Wales. This new research experiment will take place on the Maes at the National Eisteddfod in Ebbw Vale (Aberystwyth University's unit), and you can participate by following these simple steps:

1. Choose your favourite poem by T.H. Parry-Williams (a collection of his poems will be available)

2. Think carefully about your choice, and about why the poem is important to you.

3. Read out the poem to the camera.

4. Answer some questions on camera about the significance of your chosen poem.

(There will be another opportunity to take part in this experiment on Thursday 5th August between 2.00pm and 5.00pm.)
