Welsh Department's League Table Success

The Welsh Department has secured a noteble result in the Times Good University Guide 2011 league table. Excellent student satisfaction and improved graduate prospects means that Aberystwyth University's Welsh Department is rated third amongst UK Celtic departments, and is top among Welsh Departments for the standard of its research.

This news comes hard on the heels of the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2010 in which Aberystwyth University was placed in the top four of all UK universities for teaching and learning, with Oxford, Cambridge and St Andrews
