Aberystwyth University Mauritius Branch Campus collaborates with the Rotary Club of St. Pierre

The Aberystwyth University Mauritius Branch Campus collaborated with the Rotary Club of St. Pierre for a seminar/workshop on Leadership and Conflict Management.

On Sunday 19 June 2016 Aberystwyth University Mauritius Branch Campus (AUM) collaborated with the Rotary Club of St. Pierre to hold a seminar/workshop on Leadership and Conflict Management.

This event was one of a growing number of outreach programmes engaged in by AUM. The aim of the seminar/workshop is to strengthen their partnerships with local institutions and the wider community of Mauritius. AUM is committed to working with local organisations to enhance the capabilities of its citizens and create an awareness of matters of significant social, economic and political importance.

The honourable speaker, among others, is Professor Ved Prukash Torul, of the Aberystwyth University Mauritius Branch Campus who conducted the workshop on Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution. 

Dr David Poyton, the Dean of AUM stated that the campus was ‘proud to be hosting such an important event at our new campus in Quartier Militaire.

‘The objective of this initiative is to facilitate and integrate with the social values that form the fabric of the local community’.
