Sir Emyr Jones Parry presents a Fellow during graduation 2008.

The Rt Hon Rhodri Morgan AM, First Minister of Wales, is one of seven Honorary Fellows to be presented by Aberystwyth University during the 2009 graduation ceremonies.

Sir Emyr Jones Parry, President of Aberystwyth University and former UK Permanent Representative to the United Nations will present the First Minister as Fellow of the University on Thursday 16th July.

Aberystwyth University graduation ceremonies are held in the Great Hall at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre from Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th July.

Professor of Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University. Established first sports science laboratories in UK at Loughborough and Aberystwyth, and former student of Aberystwyth University.

President and Vice-Chancellor of Hong Kong Baptist University, Chair Professor in Chemistry, Deputy of National People's Congress of China, former Nuffield Post-Doctoral Research Fellow of UW Aberystwyth.

The title of Fellow is awarded to honour persons who are distinguished former students, or have a close association with Aberystwyth University or with the life of Wales.
