After launching the Well-being and health Assessment Research Unit (WARU) in March, we are now recruiting participants for our first major European study. This will be carried out over a 12 month period and aims to assess the use of ‘smart’ digital technology to help individuals monitor and potentially improve their nutrition, body composition and general well-being. We are looking to recruit healthy participants with the following characteristics:
Age | 25-50 years |
BMI (weight/height2) | 25 – 29.9 |
Smoking | Non-smokers |
Alcohol consumption | Not in excess |
Medication | No daily medication |
Role in household | Involved in cooking/preparing meals in the household |
Diet | No dietary restrictions |
If you feel that you may be eligible for this study, and you are interested in taking part, please email waru@aber.ac.uk and we will send you a copy of the Participant Information Form, which will give you all the information you need.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Many thanks,
The WARU Team
