Jason is a PhD candidate whose research is focused on US foreign policy in Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds a Master of Arts in International Conflict Analysis from the University of Kent and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Florida International University. 

He has spent the majority of his professional career in the public service where he has served in many leadership roles and championed key policy initiatives. He has vast experience in the areas of diplomacy, foreign policy and strategic security. 

His research interests are on foreign policy analysis, critical policy studies, Western Hemisphere relations, North-South relations, and Civil-Military relations.
