Nuclear Stigmatization

This project is led by Jan Ruzicka (Aberystwyth University) and Jana Wattenberg (Aberystwyth University). It contributes to the evolving debate on the Humanitarian Initiative (HI) and the movement behind the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). The HI and TPNW are predicated on efforts to stigmatize atomic weapons for their catastrophic humanitarian consequences. The project examines the range of stigmatization practices.
