Success for IBERS at the Student Led Teaching Awards

IBERS staff had a successful evening at the Aberystwyth Student Led Teaching Awards which was held last Friday, 22 April. Now in their fifth year, the Awards have quickly become a highlight of the University calendar, recognising exceptional members of staff, student representatives and departments in ten categories.

A total of eight SLTA honours were awarded to IBERS staff altogether and they comprised of the following: Winner of Exceptional Contribution to University Life – Paul Kenton,  Award for Supervisor of the Year – Jo Hamilton, Postgraduate Teacher Award – David Fazakerley, Winner of Student Representative of the Year – Adrian Mironas, Highly Commended Outstanding Teacher Award – Roger Santer, Highly Commended for Exceptional Contribution to University Life Award –Jo Hamilton, Highly Commended Postgraduate Teacher Award – Rebekah Stuart, Highly Commended Support Staff of the Year Award – Rob Darby.
