Centre for Glaciology 20th Anniversary Reunion

We are delighted to announce that we will celebrate the 20^th anniversary of the establishment of the Centre for Glaciology on the 19th and 20^th September 2014. All current and former members of CfG staff (faculty and research) and research students (MSc and PhD) are warmly encouraged to attend.

Itinerary

Friday September 19^th

Informal meet for evening meal, drinks, chat etc.

Saturday September 20^th

10:00: Official meet for hike up Cadair Idris, with group photograph. Transport will be provided from Aberystwyth.
Mid-afternoon: stop for swift half on way back to Aberystwyth.
19:00: Evening meal at the Arts Centre followed by musings from Professors Dowdeswell, Siegert et al.
23:00: Obligatory dancing. 

Accommodation

You are free to organise your own accommodation, but we have arranged a favourable per night B&B rate for single (£55) and twin/double (£80) rooms with the Belle Vue Royal Hotel, contactable on 01970 617558. Quote ‘Centre for Glaciology Reunion’.
