Adam Vincent (1989-2012)

Members of the University Sub-Aqua club would like to pay tribute to their former kit officer and dive buddy, Adam ‘Vinny’ Vincent, who tragically passed away on Friday 2nd November 2012. Vinny was an enthusiastic and generous club member with a sense of humour that helped power club members through their cold quarry dives with jest. He will be greatly missed above and below the water’s surface.

Vinny, 23, had just started a job working for Land Referencing Services in Telford after completing a degree in Physical Geography at Aberystwyth University. Professor Michael Woods, Director of the Institute of Geography and Earth Sciences, paid tribute saying, “Adam was a popular student who had recently started a job putting his geographical skills into practice. We are very saddened to hear the news, and our thoughts are with his family and friends.”
