Content
This module forms part of the core Level 2 programme in European Languages (German Minor) and is one of the three written language courses taken in that year. It aims to enhance students' understanding of German written language. Students who successfully complete the module should feel that they have an improved awareness of German structures and idiom appropriate to both the spoken and written registers.
You will attend translation, and grammar classes followed by students taking GE30130, and produce less written assessed work. You will be required to submit translations into English.
It is your responsibility to make sure that the module coordinator knows that you are a 2S European Languages, minor language student.
Written work must be handed in on time: your tutor, like you, works to a demanding timetable and will not by departmental policy accept late submission of work.
