Semester Assessment | Sound Design Working in pairs, students will conceive and produce an appropriate soundtrack for a short film, using both sound effects libraries and their own recordings. Students are given a short film with the audio removed and using a combination of sound libraries and their own recordings must produce the necessary atmosphere, foley etc to build their soundtrack. 5 Minutes | 30% |

Brief description
how a film can change direction and how the atmosphere of a film can be heavily influenced by editing, grading and the use of sound design and music during post-production.

Editing techniques and their application in various genres

The use of VFX and Green Screen

Students will be expected to evaluate group activities as well as their own contribution.
