On successful completion of this module students should be able to:

Demonstrate an understanding of the debate around the ethics of
using behavioural insights in policy formation and evaluation
Brief description
Students will learn about psychological drivers of behaviour as well as exploring the use of 'Nudge' to change behaviour. The debate around the ethics of using behavioural insights in the development of policy and as part of evaluation studies will be examined
Content
Through a series of online lectures, guided reading and quizzes, students will explore:
- How Nudge has been used to encourage desired behaviours
- The debate around the ethics of using behavioural insights in policy formation and evaluation
