Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
1. Demonstrate a critical understanding of the key principles of communication in early years settings.
2. Develop and reflect upon the range of communication skills needed in an early years setting.
3. Understand how to lead on developing effective communication processes in early years settings.
Brief description
In this module, students will explore a range of communication skills needed within an early years setting. These include adapting communication to people and situations, body language cues, the use of positive language, effective listening and confidentiality.
