TEST A!

Comments:-

The test are a fairly good idea, they allow for alteration / updates

for the student if he/she isn't to sure on a question. I find however

the questions involving examples of code daunting. when you ask

for the "what will occur" type of questions I find it hard(ish) to spot

the error as in reality the Compiler gives you indications of error.

Overall though the tests do seem a good idea to let the student &

lecturer know of the progression being made. (Hopefully!)

Opinions on exams:

The computerised exams are a good concept, but there are some areas of

their execution that could be improved, specifically things like grammatical

errors and typing errors that make the exams harder to understand in

some cases. The impression is given that not enough care is taken in

preparing the exams.

The current feedback from the exams is not particularly helpful, providing

only the mark that you achieved. An improvement would be to provide

comments that indicate which question areas you had difficulty with.

The computerised exams are less stressfull than traditional style ones.

During the term the tests are a good gauge to know exactly

how you are doing with your studies (what you do and dont know)

My only criticism being some of the coding is large and the answers

arent visable so you have to scroll up and down. Changing text size improves this (sorry) I prefer

these tests compared to written test.
