Opening Times:
- Laboratory 1 or Room BA9 is open 24 hours per day
- Laboratory 2 or Room BA8 is open 09:00-18:00 Weekdays

- Note : After 6.30pm access to these rooms will only be available by placing your Library Card against the
Salto sensor next to the entrance.
- The Technician is available from 08.50am until 5.00pm Monday - Thursday. 08.50am until 4.00pm on Friday

Dos and Don'ts
The equipment in these language laboratories is very expensive and we would ask students and staff to treat it with respect.
- Food and drinks of any sort are strictly prohibited in the Language Laboratory Suite (Crumbs and spilt liquids can seriously damage the equipment.) This also applies to the waste material from erasers, pencil sharpeners and similar.
- Computers must not be moved from their normal resting place nor interfered with in any way.
- Faults should be reported as soon as possible to the Technical staff or noted on the faults sheet (normally by the lecturers desk).
- Make sure that you leave the workstation in a tidy condition with everything returned to its proper place (i.e. keyboard, mouse, headset, chair).
- If you are the only person in the laboratory turn off the main lights after use.
