At Aberystwyth University, we have a range of opportunities for year groups 7, 8 and 9 to engage with us.

Maths Challenge

The Maths Challenge is an annual mathematics competition for two different age groups. the Junior category is for pupils in Years 7 and 8 whilst the Senior category is for years 9 and 10.

The challenges are set by our Mathematics department and sent to local schools throughout Ceredigion and beyond in both Welsh and English.

To honour students who perform well in The Maths Challenge we hold an awards evening at Aberystwyth University.
