Aberystwyth Pre-sessional English Refugee Scholarship

The Aberystwyth Pre-sessional English Refugee Scholarship assists sanctuary seeking students with the costs of a 6 or 12-week Pre-sessional English Course at Aberystwyth University to help them prepare for degree-level study.

Scholarships will be awarded first to students who hold conditional or unconditional offers to study at Aberystwyth University. If all Pre-sessional English Refugee Scholarship places are not filled by Aberystwyth University offer holders, applications from sanctuary seekers going on to degrees at other universities will be considered.

See also the Aberystwyth Sanctuary Scholarships webpage for details of Aberystwyth University Sanctuary Scholarships available for undergraduate and postgraduate study. If you have been awarded an Aberystwyth Sanctuary Scholarship, you do not need to complete a separate application to be considered for a Pre-sessional Course.
