Activating your Student Account

Once you have received your unconditional offer to study at Aberystwyth University, you will be invited to activate your Aberystwyth IT account (student account) by our Information Services.

This will be from July onward and will be sent to the preferred contact email address as stated in your online application form, so please make sure you check your account regularly.

To activate your account, you will need to have your student reference number. You can find your student reference number in your acceptance email and offer letter.

If you have not received an invitation to activate your account by 15th July (or 15th November for Semester 2 applicants) please contact global@aber.ac.uk.

Once your account has been activated, you should check it regularly and use it as your main point of contact with the university. This is where you will receive important updates and messages relating to your exchange at Aberystwyth University.

Please note: if you hold a conditional offer, you will not be able to activate your student account until you have met all the conditions of your offer.
