Help’s Right Here
University can be an exciting time, but it can also be challenging. You don’t have to deal with it on your own.
Help’s right here
There are many ways you can access support and guidance:
1:1 support
We can offer 1-to-1 appointments with our Mental Health Specialists or Counsellors to talk about your current difficulties.
Please complete the Secure online registration form to arrange an appointment.
This will help the practitioner to know more about the situation and identify whether you need to speak to a Mental Health Specialist or Counsellor. You will then be able to book a suitable slot. All sessions can be held in-person or online, depending on your preference.
Help if you have a long-standing Health Condition
If you have a long-standing Health Condition you can access advice from our Accessibility Service. They can advise on the range of support options available. Please see the Accessibility webpages for more information. You can also email us at accessibility@aber.ac.uk or call us on 01970 621761 / 622087
Money matters
No issue is too big or too small. Our service is confidential, non-judgemental and free of charge. To book an appointment with an adviser, Email: student-adviser@aber.ac.uk
Worried about someone else?
You can tell us if you have concerns about someone else. Complete our Secure online raising concerns form to give us details of the concerns and a practitioner will contact you.
Online resources
We have a range of online help and advice from materials, useful links, apps, and web-based platforms to training sessions to help. Go to our Resources Page to find out more.
Report and Support
