Your comment: Thank you so much to the lovely hospitality staff, particularly those in the Piazza caffi and the SU shop for being so friendly and kind to their customers. The seagulls have been vicious recently as more people sit outside in the warm weather to have lunch. It's surprisingly upsetting to be attacked by a gull and the staff in these outlets have been wonderful, warning people about the risks beforehand and showing genuine concern in the aftermath. Thank you to them for their fantastic customer service :)

Can I firstly thank you for taking the time to write your very kind words. The Piazza Café is Managed by Sarah Hughes and her team from the Arts Centre, whilst the staff in the SU shop is managed by Helen, with Sian as her manager. So it is to them and their staff that I pass on your thanks. We had hoped that the Pandemic would have one benefit of stopping the Seagulls habit of ‘mugging’ unsuspecting people of their lunch. However who knew they were so patient and so keen to return to their bad habits.
I would like to echo your sentiments that the kindness and compassion given by these staff is an inspiration to us all to how we deal with people.
