Aberystwyth Psychology Student Features in New Textbook

If graduating with a 1st class honours degree in psychology wasn’t enough, Jade Norris will also feature in a new pedagogically ground breaking social psychology textbook by Robbie Sutton and Karen Douglas from the University of Kent. The real world application of her research caught the eye of the authors and requested Jade submit an outline of her research to them for inclusion in their textbook being published by Palgrave in September 2012. Jade’s project was informed by her role as a volunteer special constable in Dyfed-Powys police where she was able to discuss with trainee cadets about their understanding of group processes through methods used by the police for crowd control.
