Shortlist for 2020 Staff and Students Awards announced

Winners of the AberSU Staff and Students Awards 2019

The shortlist for the annual AberSU Staff and Students Awards has been announced.

Now in their ninth year, the awards are organised by Aberystwyth Students’ Union (AberSU), and supported by the University, and offer the opportunity to highlight teaching excellence, celebrate good practice, and recognise the contributions of staff and students to the student experience.

Despite the difficult circumstances owing to the Covid19 outbreak, over 250 nominations were received for thirteen awards, which include Lecturer of the Year, Support / Service Staff Member of the Year, Personal Tutor of the Year, Student Volunteer of the Year, Creative Teaching Award and Department of the Year.

The winners will be announced on the AberSU and Aberystwyth University Facebook and Twitter accounts on Thursday 30 April from 7.30pm.
