“Aberystwyth University (Mauritius Branch Campus) (AUM) is an integral part of Aberystwyth University, Wales, and sits squarely with the University’s strategic aims of ‘Creating opportunities’ and ‘Engaging the world’ by ‘pursuing collaboration nationally and globally’.

 Our brand new campus at Quartier Militaire delivers first class, British education, and ensures that this education is as accessible as possible to the people of Mauritius and the surrounding region.

 The Government of Mauritius has ambitious plans to establish the country as an international knowledge hub and we are delighted to be playing our part in realising this vision.

 Considering this early stage in the AUM campus development, the initial cohort of 40 students is a positive and very successful start. As the highest-ranking overseas university in Mauritius, our commitment to delivering excellence in teaching and research means we look forward to welcoming seven additional new academic members of staff to AUM next semester.

 Our key aim now is to grow student numbers, continue to offer a fantastic student experience and contribute to the economic and social development of Mauritius and the region.”
