Super Spurs

The Tottenham Hotspur FC Roadshow visited the University sports fields at Blaendolau on the 2-3rd August giving the budding young footballers of Ceredigion an opportunity to work on their ball skills. Spurs Academy coaches delivered the latest in technical and skill based drills and the Club’s scouting network was also on hand to assess all the players.

The Roadshows provide young people with the opportunity to play the game, learn and develop their skills with the flair, fluidity and attacking football that are the hallmark of Spurs and  gave over 90 local children between the ages of 5- 15 the opportunity to participate in an exciting Premiership football coaching experience.

Sports Centre Director, Frank Rowe commented, “We were delighted to host Premiership giants Spurs in Aberystwyth and the event also marked the return of Blaendolau as a major venue for sporting events following the recent floods!”
