These free workshops are open to all (including Aberystwyth University staff, students and graduates) and will be held on the Penglais campus from Monday 28th May – Friday 1st June.
Whether you have a business idea you are looking to develop, or are interested in developing your entrepreneurial skills, the range of workshops offered as part of Business Start-up Week will provide hints, tips and practical guidance from local entrepreneurs, business advisors and enterprise staff from the University.
“The week’s programme provides an overview of the key issues and considerations involved in taking an idea and developing this through the business planning process” explained Tony Orme, Enterprise Manager, Commercialisation and Consultancy Services at Aberystwyth University.
“An added benefit of attending Business Start-up Week is the opportunity to meet like-minded entrepreneurs and build a support network to draw on when taking your business idea forward”.
Covering a range of themes, workshops will include: Networking; Market Research; Marketing; Digital Marketing; Financial planning, Costing and Pricing; Financial Management; Tax and Operational Issues.
