Europe Day

11 May 2012

As part of the Europe Day celebrations this week, staff and students at the Centre for European Studies at Aberystwyth University have organised a EuroFun Day tomorrow (12 May) which is open to the public.

Entry to the fun day is free and will include a variety of activities ranging from European food stalls and music concerts to a photography exhibition and European movie screenings.

The photography exhibition will feature photos taken by people who entered a competition to capture the impressions of Europe, in the run up to the EuroFun Day.

The winners will be presented with their prize by Aberystwyth University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor April McMahon, and Antonia Mochan, the European Commission’s representative in the UK.

There will be two live music performances given by local music group Chocolat, as well as dance performances and a free Screening of La Vita e Bella in the Arts Centre sinema (programme of events below).
