Accommodation update

The University has been closely monitoring the position with regards to accommodation availability, both in its own residences and in the private sector.  

The University last week encouraged returning students who had not yet secured accommodation for the new academic year to make contact, so that they could be informed of new accommodation vacancies when the University became aware of them.

A number of returning students and Erasmus international students were housed last week in Aberystwyth University halls of residence.

Students who have rented houses and may have individual rooms to let due to changes in circumstances are also being encouraged to post information on the Accommodation Office notice board, which is in the Penbryn reception and to inform the Accommodation Office itself.
