Student Led Teaching Awards

Following nominations by students, four members of Mathematics staff were commended at the Student Led Teaching Awards held on the 22nd April. Congratulations to Adam Vellender, highly commended for excellence in technology-enhanced learning, Daniel Burgarth, highly commended for personal tutor of the year, and Rob Douglas, highly commended for exceptional contribution to university life. And particularly to Rolf Gohm, who won the category for excellence in technology-enhanced learning. Rolf's citation reads "I feel that Rolf's use of technology has enhanced the learning of everyone in an unexpected way". Many thanks to the students who nominated staff, to whom these awards mean a great deal.
