Dr Daniel Burgarth promoted to Reader

The Department congratulates Dr Daniel Burgarth on his promotion to Reader in the 2015 Academic Promotions round. Daniel is currently teaching statistics, stochastic processes and quantum information, and is PI on the EPSRC grant "Control characterisation of noisy quantum devices".
