Professors Gennady Mishuris and Ivan Argatov have published "Contact Mechanics of Articular Cartilage Layers" with Springer. The book describes asymptotic models of the frictionless contact of thin cartilage layers, following Argatov's tenure here as a Marie Curie Professor on the project "Articular Contact Mechanics with Application to Early Diagnosis of Osteoarthritis".
