Overview

This self-paced online core module will require students to attend some scheduled online group teaching sessions. Delivered over six months, you will be guided through the practical elements of creating a body of work for a proposed exhibition. You will be given tasks that link to the professional development requirements for potential freelance work within this field and be guided towards presenting a body of work for final assessment. Students will be required to contribute to Discussion Board topics and develop a set of goals to aim for in the future.

It is recommended that students undertake at least 60 credits in Natural History Studies before enrolling on this module.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module, students should be able to:   

  1. Demonstrate professional development attributes in relation to natural history studies.
  2. Research issues pertinent to the study of Natural History.
  3. Present and Reflect upon the module's portfolio of work.
