Emzi is a Tutor in the Lifelong Learning team where she teaches online units in Ecology and Conservation. She has over 15 years’ experience in outreach and teaching, including remote learning, further and higher education. She is a Forest School Leader, holds a role with an awarding organisation, and took the TPAU programme with Aberystwyth University. Emzi has experience in management, leadership, and the non-profit sector, and completed her MBA in 2025. Academically, interests lie in lifelong learning and sustainability.

Emzi joined Aberystwyth University in 2021. When she’s not teaching she enjoys spending time with her family and getting outdoors birding and on walks with her whippets.
