Introduction to Mathematics 2

This module aims to provide a strong foundation in statistics, ratios, measurements and conversions and geometry (including area and perimeter of 2D shapes, volume and surface of 3D shapes, circle theorems, transformations and constructions). The course is delivered via a series of online pre-recorded lectures and live workshops allowing students to learn through practice. Completing this module (along with Introduction to Mathematics 1) offers students an opportunity to develop the mathematical skills at the level required for entry to the PGCE course at Aberystwyth University.
